The International Federation of Football History and Statistics, IFFHS has released the Best team of the Year consisting of Only African Players.

The Year 2021 has been a successful Year for Africans in different Levels especially at the Club Level where some boast of European triumph such as Winning the League Title at their respective Leagues and winning UEFA Champions League Particularly Edouard Mendy and Hakim Ziyech doing it with Chelsea.

Algeria's Riyad Mahrez Boasts of Winning the 2020/2021 EPL with Manchester City While Sebastien Haller currently Occupies the thrown of Goal-Scoring in this Season's UEFA Champions League Campaign.


At The national level as well, some of the players have guided their Nations to the AFCON as well as the world cup which are both holding Next Year.

The Team Compiled by IFFHS comprises of More Senegalese players than every other nations and Surprisingly not a single Nigerian Player made the team despite.
