Head Coach of Manchester United, Erik Ten Haag has made no changes to United's Captaincy after confirming that Current Club Captain, Harry Maguire will still retain his position as the Club's Captain.

Since the arrival of Erik Ten Haag to Manchester United, there have been a lot of speculations surrounding the future of the Club's Captain, Harry Maguire who has come under-fire for the past few seasons due to some questionable defending in his role as One of the club's First choice Center Back.

The arrival of Erik Ten Haag was expected to bring in massive changes to the United Team especially in the area of Captaincy as a lot of people are hoping that Harry Maguire would be stripped off the Captain Armband which in turn would be handed to another player with Cristiano Ronaldo emerging as a likely candidate while the English man is relegated to the Bench.

All these are likely not to be effective next season as Erik Ten Haag has confirmed that Maguire would remain the club's Captain Even by Next season.

"Harry Maguire is the captain." Erik Ten Haag Said as quoted by The Athletic while speaking to the Media ahead of United's Pre-season friendly against Liverpool.

"He has and of course I have to get to know all the players but he is the established captain and he has achieved a lot of success." He added.

The Dutch Coach also spoke on the issue surrounding Cristiano Ronaldo's Continuity as he confirms that the Player is in his plans for next season And not for sale.

"He's not with us, it's due to personal issues.

"We are planning with Cristiano Ronaldo for this season. I'm looking forward to working with him.

"He hasn't told me he wants to leave. I have read but what I say, Cristiano is not for sale. He is in our plans and we want to have success together."
