Nigeria Secured and Important victory against Egypt as they won 1-0 in their Opening Group D AFCON Encounter at the Roumde Adija Stadium in Cameroon.
Nigeria Started the Game on a positive note and created Several Chances but were able to Bury one courtesy of a well taken Strike by Leicester City's Goal Poacher, Kelechi Iheanacho.
The Egyptians were Completely Outplayed and failed to create any clear-cut Goal scoring Opportunity.
Super Eagles Goalkeeper, Maduka Okoye had a relatively quiet game but when called on action, the Sparta Rotterdam's Goalkeeper made himself big to prevent Mohamed Salah from notching a Goal from a deft touch.
The Eagles were able to hold on to the lone Goal until Full Time, getting no response from a Toothless Egyptian side.
In Celebration of the Victory, Dutch Top Tier League Side, Sparta Rotterdam last night lit the Sparta Stadion Het Kasteel in the Famous Green and white Colours of Nigeria in Honour of their Goal Keeper, Maduka Okoye.

Maduka Okoye who would be leaving Sparta Rotterdam at the End of this Current Season also got an Appreciation Message from his New team in the English Premier League, Watford.
