Ahead of the New English Premier League season which is set for kick-off on the 13th of August, Nigerian Players in England would be gearing up for a Fabulous season with their respective teams. 

In the Past couple of months, the English premier league has welcomed a few Nigerian Players and they include, Frank Onyeka who signed for Brentford from Midtjylland, Oghenekaro Etebo who would be representing the Hornets of Watford. There are also a couple of Nigerians who have Gained Promotion to the Senior team of their club side and one of Such player is Newly Invited Super Eagles Goalkeeper, Joshua Oluwayemi for plays for Tottenham.


Amongst all the Numerous Nigerians In the English League, Here are five players to watch out for next Season.

1. Wilfred Ndidi. 

The Leicester City Midfielder is no doubt one of the best Midfielders in the EPL and he has proven to be one of the best in the World. Ndidi has been so Instrumental for his Club side and has played a Crucial role in their title double title Triumph between Last season and this season. In his Position as a Defensive Midfielder, Wilfred Ndidi is indeed one of the best Tacklers of the Ball. The Midfielder finished with 96 tackles in the League Last season which is the 4th overall best.


With a Resurgent Leicester City side who are craving for more title Triumph, a Repetition of the 2016 League Win is not totally out of place, The Foxes have become a huge threat to the EPL "Big Boys" and one player who could push them to Another success is definitely Wilfred Ndidi.


2. Oghenekaro Etebo
A new signing this Season for newly promoted side, Watford but definitely not a newcomer in the Premier League. Etebo has had a taste of Life in the EPL with Stoke City in 2018. Coming Back to the EPL, Etebo is definitely Returning as a player with a Point to prove. The Ever Energetic Midfielder has always been a Force to reckon in all the teams he has played for. Etebo, a Central Midfielder but more of a Box to Box Midfielder with a 'Wicked' right foot Capable of shooting from distance would definitely play a very key role in Watford's Season in the EPL. The Midfielder is already settled in his new team and all thanks to his Nigerian Brothers, William Troost-Ekong and Isaac Success.


3. Alex Iwobi
Alex Iwobi, player who have come under-fire in recent Weeks would definitely be looking at Shutting his critics especially in this Era of New Everton's Head Coach, Rafa Benitez who have tasked him Up with the Responsibility of Featuring as a Play maker in the Everton team. Alex Iwobi would be playing in the Number 10 role, a Position he has always admired and this would definitely give him the freedom to cause problems for the Opposing Team with his Pace and Dazzling Skills. Last season Iwobi was deployed as a Wing back by Head Coach, Carlo Ancelotti, a Position which he needed to adapt to but in this Coming season, Iwobi would get the chance to feature in his Preferred Position and this would definitely give him the chance to prove himself.


4. Frank Onyeka
The 23 years old Midfielder is one of the Latest Signing for Newly Promoted EPL New Boys, Brentford. Frank Onyeka was Signed from Danish Team, Midtjylland. Making his First Appearance for an English Premier League side, Frank Onyeka is Gradually becoming one of Brentford's Fans Favourite. The Player featured for Brentford in some of  their Pre-season Games and has already gotten a goal to his Name.

5. Kelechi Iheanacho
Senior Man Kelz as he is widely called is Unarguably the Biggest Nigerian in the Premier League right now. The 24 years old Midfielder is really Enjoying Life in Leicester City. Last season was really a great one for Kelechi Iheanacho. The Striker was very Instrumental for Leicester in their Pursuit for European Qualifications and Domestic Glory. Kelechi Iheanacho's  19 goals in 39 appearance for Leceister City across all Competitions last season has definitely won the trust of their fans globally and the player would be hoping to continue from where he left off last season. Iheanacho Already have a goal to his Name this season, Scoring a Penalty against Manchester City in the FA Community Shield Final.
