Manchester United Striker, Odion Ighalo has Equalled a long standing Club record which Stood for 95 years.


Odion Ighalo's strike against Norwich City in Midweek FA cup Clash saw him becoming only the second Manchester United Player in history to score a goal in each of his first four starts in a competitive fixture for the Red Devils.

Ighalo was at the right place and at the right time to Poke home from close range, Placing Manchester United Ahead against Norwich city.

The record was set by Jimmy Hanson in 1925 and ever since, the record has stood. The Only Player that came close to Equaling that record was Zlatan Ibrahimovic who bagged 3 goals in his first three Consecutive starts for the Red Devils but failed to hit the Back of the net in the Fourth Outing.

Odion Ighalo who extended his loan deal with Manchester United until January 2021 continues his fine form, scoring five goals and setting up one other in eleven competitive matches for the Red Devils this season.
