Super Eagles Striker, Victor Osimhen has been declared winner of the 2020 Prix Marc-Vivien Foe Award, Becoming only the Second Nigerian to do So.


 The Prix Marc-Vivuen Foe Award is given Yearly to the Best African Player in France. This year had 11 Nominees in Contention which Includes Fellow Nigerian, Moses Simon. 

 Victor Osimhen with a total of 284 points Became the Youngest Ever African to win the Award at Just 21 years and Six Months. Osimhen was miles ahead of 2nd Placed Algerian, Islam Slimani who got a total of 95 points from the Voting Process. 




 Osimhen has followed Vincent Enyeama to become the Only Nigerians to have won the Award. Enyeama won the Award in 2014 while playing For Lille.

Nigeria's Other Nominee for the Award, Moses Simon finished at 11th Position with Just 10 Points. Moses Simon has also had a great season for Nantes, Winning the Club's Best Player of the Season Award.

 Osimhen has been In Tremendous Form for Lille recording 13 goals in 5 assists in 27 Appearances in the League this Season.
