Super Eagles of Nigeria Striker, Victor Osimhen has not Made the traveling squad for AFCON Semi Final Showdown following abdominal Discomfort.

Victor Osimhen who was expected to lead the attack for the Super Eagles of Nigeria in their AFCON Semi Final Encounter against South Africa on Wednesday has suffered a great Setback as Reports from the Camp of the Super Eagles confirms that the Striker has abdominal Discomfort.
As a result of the Abdominal Discomfort, Victor Osimhen has been Left back with the Medical team in Abidjan while others traveled to Bouake in Côte d'Ivoire.

A Statement from the Super Eagles of Nigeria Official Twitter (X) Handle Reads:

Members of the team traveled from
Abidjan to Bouaké today via a 10pm Air
Cote D'Ivoire flight. Osimhen did not
however make the trip as a result of an
abdominal discomfort. Team medics
confirmed that he has been placed
under close watch with a member of
the medical team staying behind in
Abidjan with him. If cleared by tomorrow
morning, he will join the rest of the
squad before 5pm.
Despite Nigeria's Attacking Prowess, the Super Eagles would not want to be without their Talisman on Wednesday at the Stade de la paid as they take on the Bafana Bafana of South Africa in a bid to secure AFCON Final ticket.
