Super Falcons Defender, Ashleigh Plumptre has Reacted to Concerns regarding her recent Absence from the Senior Women's National team.

The 25 Years old who was impressive at the FIFA Women's World Cup held this year hasn't Featured for the Super Falcons since their Exit from the World Cup.

The Super Falcons has gone on to play Three Games since the World Cup tournament but Plumptre didn't feature in any of them. Her Absence From the National team is beginning to raise serious concerns as a lot of people are interested in knowing the reason for her Absence. 

Ashleigh Plumptre who recently completed a Big Move to Saudi Arabia with Al-Ittihad has come out to clear the air on these Concerns.

“I guess it has been a break. I haven’t been able to go to the upcoming, camp, like I said, it’s more of a personal decision while I take care of my body,” she told Nigeria Football via Punch

“But ultimately, I want to be fun with the team. It’s a privilege. And I want to be in the best physical condition to be able to go and compete in important games.

“And I feel like right now, I have complete trust and faith in the team. I will be watching the game while I am here, but I want to get to a point where I can compete maximally and provide as much as I can to the team in the best condition.”

“Hopefully give them a chance as well. And to be seen, at the top level, I think that’s really important. So, yeah, I’ll be supporting the girls from afar.”
