Super Falcon's Defender, Ashleigh Plumptre has taken to her Social Media handle to acknowledge the Nomination of Asisat Oshoala for the 2022 Women's Ballon D'or.
Oshoala alongside 19 others were Nominated for the Prestigious Award of which the winner would be Announced on the 17th or October, 2022.

Oshoala's Nomination Makes her the First Ever African Woman to get Nominated for the Women's Ballon D'or.

The Nigerian has had a decent season, Finishing as Top Scorer In the Women's League as her team, FC Barcelona Femeni Clinched the Title. She also played a part in FC Barcelona's Second Place UEFA Champions League Finish. 

At the end of the Season Oshoala Boasts of the Spanish League title, the Copa De La Reina and the Super Copa De Espana.
At Continental Level, Asisat Oshoala who missed most of the WAFCON tournament due to Injury was named CAF Women's Player of the Year.

The Attacker is now up for the Ballon D'or Prize and has attracted praises and Acknowledgment from team mate at National Level, Ashleigh Plumptre who took to Instagram to show her Love for Asisat.
