Super Falcons Attacker, Asisat Oshoala has been Nominated for the 2022 Women's Ballon D'or.

The FC Barcelona attacker alongside 19 others made it to the list of Players shortlisted for the Prestigious Award. 

Asisat Oshoala have enjoyed yet another Fruitful Season with FC Barcelona as she Finished as Joint League Top Scorer with 20 Goals as Barcelona's Women's team clinch the league title.

Asisat Oshoala also played a part in FC Barcelona's Run to the Final the Women's Champions League where they lost to Lyon. 

The 27 Years old Wasn't able to replicate her club form with the National side as she picked up an Injury in Nigeria's First Group Game of the Women's African Cup of Nations against South Africa. The Injury ruled her out of the remaining Fixtures of the Tournament.

However, Super Zee as she is fondly called got her efforts crowned at the CAF Awards Ceremony in Morocco as she was Named the CAF Women's Player of the Year.

To crown it all, Asisat Oshoala has now made it to the top 20 Nominees of the Ballon D'or, Making her the First Ever African to be Nominated for a Ballon D'or in the Women's Category.
