Super Eagles of Nigeria Most Versatile Player, Alex Iwobi has reacted to his Team's 2-0 Loss Against Arsenal in the Early Hours of Sunday.

Alex Iwobi was a second Half substitute for the Toffees and had a decent game but could do Little to prevent the Gunners from Snatching away a well deserved Win.

Arsenal and Everton went head to head in their Pre-season encounter in the US ahead of the Much Anticipated 2022/2023 EPL Season. It was the team led by Mikel Arteta who drew First blood in the First Half through Newly signed attacker, Gabriel Jesus in the 33rd Minute. The Hot Brazilian Striker was left unmarked at the near post and did well to slam the ball into the roof of the Net after Everton Failed to Clear Their line from an Arsenal Corner.

The Gunners Built on the First Goal almost immediately and this time Gabriel Jesus Turned provider, Playing the Ball through to Bukayo Saka as the Gunners Charged Forward in a Counter Attacker. Bukayo Saka had little to do But did it well as he tapped the Ball into the Back of the net to increase the Gunners' Lead.

The Match Eventually ended 2-0 in favour of Arsenal as Everton's Efforts to Reduce or equal the scoreline proved futile.

Reacting to His team's Disappointing Loss, Second Half substitute, Alex Iwobi who also is a product of Arsenal's academy and once a first team player for the Gunners admitted that the Boys from North London were sharper than his side despite the Fact that they Mounted some pressure in the second half in a bid to score goals.

“It was good,” the former Arsenal man told Evertontv.

“Obviously, I played in the second half, and I feel like we managed to put a bit more pressure on them – we had a couple of chances and opportunities, but, overall, I think everyone did well."

“At the end of the day, it was our first game, and it was their third so they were going to be a tad sharper than us."

“We had a lot of work to do and we can take the positives from this game".

“There were opportunities for some of the young lads as well. Everyone is trying to impress, but there’s a lot more work to do.”

Alex Iwobi who was Very instrumental for Everton in their fight against Relegation Last season would now be hoping to get on to the Starting Lineup in Everton's Next Pre-season Game as he certainly would hope to look sharper and Better than how he was Last season.

Up next for Everton is a game against Minnesota United at the Allianz Field in the U.S on Thursday.
