Ahead of the Much Anticipated AFCON Semi Final showdown between the Super Falcons of Nigeria and the Atlas Lionesses of Morocco, Head Coach of the Morrocan side, Reynald Pedros has had his say on the Encounter.

Nigeria and Morocco Go head to head for a Chance to Reach the Final of this Year's edition of the Most Prestigious Female Football tournament in Africa. Nigeria and Morocco are no strangers to each other in Women's Football as both sides have met on different occasions with the Super Falcons having the Upper hand. 

Reynald Pedro's Girls are Unbeaten in the tournament so far recording 4 wins in all 4 games Played, scoring 7 goals and Conceding Just 2 so far. The Huge support from the Home Crowd has served as a sort Morale Booster for the Moroccan team who are looking at Winning the Tournament on Home Soil. 

The Super Falcons on the Other hand were beaten in their Opening encounter of the WAFCON, losing by a Lone goal to South Africa but has since then bounced Back on their feet, winning their Last 3 games, Scoring 7 goals and Conceding None.

With the Record of both sides, one could tell that the Encounter is Certainly going to be a fierce one. The Super Falcons are no strangers at this stage as they have crossed it severally, going on to win the tournament 9 times with Their sight now set on their 10th Trophy.

Inspite of the Huge Experience the Falcons Possess, Reynald Pedro, head coach of The Moroccan Side have Revealed the little that he knows about the Super Falcons that could as well help his team in their quest to defeat the Tournament's Best Country.

While Speaking during a press Conference, Reynald Said:

“We are preparing for the game, after the quarter-final game we had time to rest and we are ready for this game,” 

“Nigeria is the strongest team in Africa and we know their strength. We need to do our best and we are prepared for the game.

“We know they are strong, they have been the strongest for several years and we are ready. I won’t reveal our plans for the game, but we know what we are facing, we know they are experience.

“We are focusing on winning, we are in the semi-final and we will see what will happen in the game. We have positive ideas and we will focus until we reach the final.“

The Match has been staged to hold at the Prince Moulay Abdellag Stadium, Rabat by 21:00 Nigerian Time.

The Winner of the Encounter will Play either of South Africa or Zambia at the Final.
