Former Manchester United Defender, Rio Ferdinand has dropped his verdict on the Performance of Manchester City's Midfielder, Bernado Silva who has so Far impressed this season.

Having being Linked with a move Away from the Etihad in the summer, Bernado Silva has gone on to prove his Worth becoming one of the brightest player for Manchester City in the EPL this season.

According to Ferdinand, the Portuguese player only falls behind Liverpool Hitman, Mohamed Salah in the pecking order of Premier League Best players this season.

"It seemed he was one of the first players who was going to be out the door, he wasn't happy with the game-time and wanted a new scene, but he came back and it shows you about application and attitude and putting yourself into the position to perform." Ferdinand Said (via Manchester Evening)

"After Mo Salah he's been the best player in the Premier League this season, he's been that good.

Fellow pundit Michael Owen added: "If he was a player who likes to pass sideways and backwards, I wouldn't be that impressed with that stat... but when you see him play. Playing in and around the box, you have to tip your hat to him, he’s a fine player and he's [having] a fantastic season."

"In various positions [against PSG], he played like a false nine. He's been great this year and I think he's a wonderful footballer - 47 passes out of 47 went to a light blue shirt."

Bernado has so far been involved in 5 Goals for Mancity in the league this season, scoring 4 and setting up one other.
