Legendary Former FC Barcelona Player, Xavi Hernandez is bent on Taking up the Coaching Job at his Boyhood Club who are desperately in need of his service.

Xavi Hernandez currently the head coach of Qatari Club, Al-Sadd is set to Take over as head coach of FC Barcelona following the Departure of Ronald Koeman.

Xavi took the Al-Sadd coaching Job in 2019 and has been Impressive Ever since. The 41 year old Spaniard in Just 2 years won 5 trophies at Al-Sadd and he is widely considered as one of the Most promising Coaches in World Football.

With FC Barcelona in a difficult Situation as regards the club's Coaching Department, turning on to their Former Player to help redeem the image of the club remains a top priority. 

Delegates from Barcelona were present to watch the league match between Al Sadd and Al-Duhail on Wednesday after which a meeting was held with the Qatari Club over the Departure of Xavi and a possible return to Spain. Although a return to Barcelona remains Imminent, the outcome of the meeting is yet unknown.

The Game between Al-Sadd and Al-Duhail is perceived to be Xavi's Last Match In charge of the Qatari Club. The game ended 3-3 and Al-Sadd remains top of the Qatar Stars League standing with 25 Points from 9 games. They Remain Unbeaten this season. 

After the Game, Xavi expressed his desire to return back to Barcelona stating that he wants to go home

"I've been talking to Barca for days, it's done," He said.

"But now it depends on the conversations between clubs, they need to reach an agreement. Barca is coming to talk, we are all eager and excited. We'll see if it ends up being done."

"I really want to go home. I hope it happens. I have a contract and now the clubs have to negotiate. They already know my position."

If everything goes as planned, Xavi is Expected to Take over from Barcelona's Interim Coach Sergi Barjuan and be in the Dugout in the League Game against Celta Vigo on Saturday, November 6th
