Incoming Head Coach of FC Barcelona, Xavi Hernandez has Reportedly picked his top priority Signing ahead of his time as the Manager of the Catalan Giants.

Xavi Hernandez is set to takeover as FC Barcelona's new Head Coach after the Sacking of Dutch Manager, Ronald Koeman. 

Koeman was Relieved of his duties after a poor run of Results this season saw him Record Just 5 wins in 13 Matches Managed. The Gaffer lost 5 games and drew 3.

Xavi is expected to be in the Dugout with FC Barcelona on the 6th of November when they take on Celta Vigo in a League Clash. Report from SPORTS confirms that the Spanish Tactician has reached an Agreement with FC Barcelona and would Sign a 3-Year deal Which will see him stay at the club until 2024. 


Temporarily, FC Barcelona would be Managed by Sergi Barjuan the Barcelona B Coach and would take charge of the Club's next two games against Alaves and Dynamo Kiev Respectively.

Ahead of his return to the club where he spent 23 Years as a professional Footballer, Xavi Hernandez is already trying to put things in place and According to various Reports, the Manager would be reverting to the traditional 4-3-3 Formation, a Tactics which earned FC Barcelona so much Success in recent years especially in the Pep Guardiola's Era. 

Xavi prefers a 4-3-3 Formation and would like to have the attacking Duo of Ansu Fati and Ousmanne Dembele playing on the Left and Right wing Respectively. The Spanish Tactician also reportedly does not count on Newly signed Dutch Striker, Luuk De Jong who is yet to Impress since his Signing this summer. 


In addition, Xavi has picked Chelsea's Defensive Target Jules Koundé as one player he wants signed by the Barcelona Board as he Hopes to strengthen the Barcelona Defense.

Jules Koundé, a highly rated Centre-Back currently Playing for Sevilla Emerged as a top Target for Chelsea's Head Coach, Thomas Tuchel. A deal for the 22 Years old didn't Materialise as Chelsea Failed to Meet up with Sevilla's asking Price for the Defender before the summer transfer window deadline.

Chelsea and Barcelona will have to battle it out for the signature of the 22 Years old during the upcoming January Transfer Window. The blues have shortlisted the player as priority Signing in January but will now face a stiff Competition from FC Barcelona.


The Blues Also have their eyes on Juventus' Defender, Mathijs De Ligt.

Another Player Xavi is interested in is Manchester City's Winger, Raheem Sterling. The Spanish Gaffer Hopes to add Sterling to the team and has Reportedly picked him as one Player FC Barcelona Needs to sign to help Bolster their attack.
