Head coach of Chelsea Football Club, Thomas Tuchel has tendered an Apology to Inter Milan Fans over the signing of Romelu Lukaku from the club. 

Romelu Lukaku was Inter's top Scorer in the league last season with 24 goals, leading the Nerazzuri to their First league Title in 10 Years. 

Lukaku Left Inter Milan in the summer of 2021, returning back to Chelsea for £97.5m. The Belgian is already up and running in the EPL with 3 Goals in 6 EPL matches Played so far this season. 

Thomas Tuchel Explaining the Importance of the Belgian Goal Poacher apologized to Inter Fans.

"But like everyone we try to improve. We identified a certain profile, a very physical striker, a reference, a player with personality who could take the pressure off the shoulders of the youngest. A player who allowed us to play faster football,"

"There aren’t many players like that. When we have the chance to bring Lukaku back, it was an important moment for us. He said he was fine where he was, he worked extraordinarily with [Antonio] Conte and Inter."


"But then returning and finishing his career in England, where he played as a young man, was important. Lukaku wanted to play for Chelsea for these reasons and everything went well."

Lukaku Currently on international duty was on Target for Belgium in the UEFA Nations League as they fell to a 3-2 defeat in the hands of France.
