Legendary FC Barcelona Striker, Luis Suarez Miramontes has expressed his disappointment in the Signing of Dutch Striker, Luuk De Jong.

Luuk De Jong was signed on deadline day of the Summer Transfer Window from Sevilla as FC Barcelona let go off French Striker Antoine Griezmann who Rejoined Atletico Madrid on a 2-Year loan deal.

The Signing of Luuk De Jong has raised a lot of questions and the Dutch Striker hasn't justified his signing yet. Luuk De Jong has so far featured in 5 games for FC Barcelona, Scoring just once. Added to that, the Striker has produced Surprising Misses as seen in Barcelona's Humiliating 3-0 Defeat in the hands of Benfica. 

Reacting to the Poor Form of Luuk Dejong, Former Barcelona Striker, Luis Suarez Miramontes who Featured for the Blaugrana from 1955-1961 has slammed the Dutchman, questioning his signing as he wondered who recommended such a player for FC Barcelona. 

Luis Suarez, the 1960 Ballon D'or winner told SPORT that

“This De Jong, I don’t know who the hell recommended him," he said

A few days earlier he was upset with the Cadiz draw, reacting to it, he said. 

“The worst game I’ve ever seen in my life, so bad" 

Luis Suarez Miramontes currently 86 years Old featured for several top clubs in Europe from 1953 - 1973, playing for the likes of  Deportivo, Inter Milan, Barcelona, Sampdoria and scoring 139 goals all through his fruitful Career.

With the Absence of Aguero and Martin Braithwaite Barcelona would have to stick with Memphis Depay and Luuk De Jong as they face Atletico Madrid on Saturday at the Wanda Metropolitano.
