Manchester United Striker, Edison Cavani has reacted to his lack of Enough Game time this season.

The Player whose Game time has been severely Affected due to the arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo has featured in 4 Games this season coming off the bench in 3 of those games. 

Edison Cavani got his first start of the season when he was named in the starting Line-up by Coach Ole Gunnar Solskjær for Manchester United Home clash against Everton in Matchweek 7 of the English Premier League. Cavani and Anthony Martial led the attack for United as Cristiano Ronaldo watched on from the Bench in the First half. 

It could well be recalled that last season, after the Striker signed for Manchester United, he became Coach Ole Gunnar Solskjær'd First Choice Striker and the Uruguayan Bagged 17 goals and 6 assists in 34 Appearances across All Competitions.


With the arrival of Portuguese Star Striker, Cristiano Ronaldo, The Uruguayan has fallen off the pecking order for Selection by Coach Ole. 

Reacting to his recent Struggles Via Mirror Football, the Former PSG Man Said:

“In football, you have to always be ready. It’s one of the keys at the top level."

"Sometimes you play more, sometimes you play less, managers make decisions, but that doesn’t stop the work to always be competitive."

"The league has just started and I have needed to be, not quite like last year, but I’m there to be a part of it."


When asked what he made of Ronaldo's arrival, he also said: “Those are things that happen, a lot of debate is created, but football is football and you don’t have to turn it around too much, it’s not because one or the other is there."

"The important thing is to be prepared for when it’s your turn, you always want to play, he wants to be there forever, but that is not going to change my way of thinking or acting.”

Going Further Cavani Also spoke on the rumours about his Potential Departure from the Club in January Next Year.


“The season is just starting I can’t talk," he said. "They talk and they will always continue talking, and the press is like that too, they talk and they have to sell.”
