Dutch National Football team Legend, Marco Van Basten has had his say on the Situation of Fellow Dutchman, Donny Van de Beek who is currently having it tough with Manchester United.

The Red Devils signed Van de Beek from Ajax in 2020 for £35m. The Player was one of the Brightest youngsters in the World before his Move to England but things have changed so Soon and Donny Van de Beek, a one time regular Player at Ajax have become a player who struggles for Game Time under Head Coach Ole Gunnar Solskjær.


The Manchester United Gaffer is yet to Give 24 Years old Van de Beek enough playing time to show his Worth. The Dutchman Made only Four Appearances as a starter for United last season and he is Yet to make a single Appearance for Manchester United this season. 

Dutch Legend, Marco Van Basten  has questioned the player's move to Manchester United Despite contact with Real Madrid. He Also feels his Fellow Country Man isn't good Enough.

"It just wasn't smart choices. If you say you spoke to Real Madrid and then you go to Manchester United, you are betting way too high," Van Basten is quoted as saying by Dailymail.co.uk

"Van de Beek is not that good. As number 10 at Ajax it is much easier than as number 10 in Spain or England." He Added

"In the Netherlands you get a lot of help, you get opportunities, but that is not the case abroad"


Despite Donny's Present Situation, the Player is still very much optimistic that is time at Manchester United Will come. The Player believes that Coach Ole Gunnar Solskjær has plans for him and that's the reason why he is still in the Club.

Van de Beek to FIVE UK: “Solskjaer told me: “I want you to stay here'. I need to trust him. If he doesn't need me, I think he will let me go. I think he has plans with me, I just need to work hard and I hope I can show the people, one day, what I can do”.
