Liverpool's Star, Sadio Mane has Overtaken Nigeria's Yakubu Aiyebeni Premier League record, becoming the 4th African Player with the Most Premier League Goals.

Yakubu Aiyebeni, a Player who had a blissful career, playing for different teams in the EPL and Enjoying the Peak of His PL career at Everton and Portsmouth. The Player also featured for other English Clubs such as Middlesbrough, Blackburn Rov ers and Leicester City.

Yakubu Aiyebeni ended his Premier League Career with 95 goals and 17 assists in 252 games. His Goals in the English Premier placed him 4th in all Time Chart of African Players with Most Premier League Goals. 


9 Years after Leaving the EPL, Yakubu Aiyebeni has now been overtaken in 4th Position as Sadio Mane scores his 96th Premier League goal in the English Premier League against Burnley. Yakubu Aiyebeni now sits at 5th Position, behind Sadio Mane at 4th Position. 

Mane played for Southampton in the EPL where he scored 21 goals in 67 League Appearances. He currently has 75 for Liverpool in 164 games

Mane who still have a lot of Years ahead of him would be looking at Breaking the Record of Highest Scoring African in the EPL currently Held by Former Chelsea Player, Didier Drogba who scored 104 goals for the Blues.

Sadio Mane wouldn't be having it Easy as he has his Liverpool team mate, Mohammed Salah who currently has 98 goals to his Name in the EPL.

As it stands, Didier Drogba (104) Still occupies 1st Position, Mohammed Salah (98) takes the Number 2 Spot ahead of Emmanuel Adebayor (97) at 3rd  Position, Mane (96) takes the 4th Position while Yakubu Aiyebeni (95) sits at 5th Position.
