Legendary Nigerian Player, Daniel Amokachi on Thursday, 12th of August, 2021 took to his Official Facebook and Instagram Pages to hail Former Super Eagles Player, Yakubu Aiyegbeni.

Yakubu Aiyegbeni remains one of Nigeria's Finest strikers in history. The prolific Goal scorer made a name for himself both at the National and Club Levels. He remains the Nigerian with the Highest English Premier League Goals, with 96 goals Scored. 
Yakubu made history by becoming the only African to score a champions league Hattrick on his Debut while playing for Israeli side, Maccabi Haifa in a game against Greek side, Olympiacos in 2002. 

The striker was Nicknamed "The Yak" due to his Goal-scoring Abilities. He was part of the Nigerian Super Eagles squad that got bronze medal at the AFCON 2002, 2004 and 2010.
In Celebration and Honour of the Star Striker, Daniel Amokachi also known as "The Bull" went on Facebook and Instagram to upload a picture of Yakubu with the Caption: "Because Na Thursday... Celebrating one of the Finest No. 9 Nigeria have ever produced."
