Gaffer of the Nigerian  Football National team , Gernot Rohr has disclosed the Reason he doesn't give a call-up to Nigerian Professional League Players except For Goalkeeper, Ikechukwu Ezenwa.


 Gernot Rohr who has been Under-pressure for his Failure to Invite NPFL players to the Eagles squad of recent has given a genuine reason for his Actions'.

"Because they are not good enough and because I have better ones. There are so many good players in Europe," Rohr told a German Media Outlet




"I have invited more than 20 local players since 2016. If they are good, sooner or later they'll all end up in Europe."

Recently, it was Gathered that the Franco-German Coach has Eventually Declared the National Team Open for Home-based players. He plans to Visit NPFL Stadiums to Watch League Matches and Make his Selections.
