Coach of the Nigerian Super Eagles, Gernot Rohr has opened up his ambition and aspirations to continue with the national team despite the New Clause attached to his contract Extension.

NFF boss Amaju Pinnick revealed the details of Rohr's New contract which seems to be a Very tough one but the German Gaffer is not moved by the tasks ahead but instead wants freedom to Nurture the set of players he discovered.

Speaking with Media Officer, Collins udoh,





“I know things will be very very easy because i don’t want more money, i dont want more bonuses. I only want to work free (freedom). I could be successful in the last few years and you know now i am 66 (year).” Rohr said.

“When i have a look at the past, i spent more times in Nigeria than Europe. So, that is what i see from the past but now i am waiting for the proposal."

“I have read what is written in the newspaper and website about my contract but all i have to say is that i spent more time in Nigeria. I only travel when i want to see my players who are based in Europe because only one is in Nigeria and that is a goalkeeper. So, i have to travel to see my players to talk them and their coaches in Europe."





However, Rohr refuses to speak further on his contract extension.


“My philosophy has always been not to speak publicly about my contract which to is confidential.”

Rohr's Contract is due to Expire by July 2020.
