Retired Super Eagles player, Tijani Babangida has tipped Victor Osimhen to Surprass Legendary Rasheed Yekini's record for the National team.

 According to the former Ajax Player, he commented on Yekini's Legacy but sees a great potential in Victor Osimhen who he has encouraged to to do greater things in the National team than Yekini who happens to be Nigeria's all time leading Goal scorer, a record that has lived for many years.

“Yekini's done much for Nigeria & that's why his record still stands, but this is a challenge for players like Osimhen.




“Everything is possible because this is sports where records are always broken, so why can’t Osimhen break Yekini’s record? It is possible!


"I watched him in Ligue 1, UCL. I must say he's not doing badly, it's not surprising the big clubs are coming for him.




Tijani Babangida further advised the Lille Foward to always aim for more and try to be at the level of the world's two greatest footballers ever even though the forward was recently named the best Super Eagles player.
