Former Head coach of the Nigerian Super Falcons, Godwin Izilien  has urged the Nigerian Football Federation to stop focusing and Spending Money on Foreign coaches when there are local ones that can actually take charge of the Nigerian Senior Female National Team


Godwin Izilien condemned the NFF actions on Picking Foreign Coaches for the Super Falcons when there are local coaches that can Actually get the Job Done without having to spend much. He further Commented on the Attitude of the Foreign Coach in terms of Dumping the Team.

“I don’t know why the NFF is still focused on getting a foreign coach for the Super Falcons. We have quality coaches in Nigeria that can build the team. Spending money to hire a foreign coach at this COVID-19 period, where the economy is not friendly is not necessary." He told The Guardian

“If a domestic coach had abandoned the Falcons the way the foreign coach did, the NFF would have been working towards arresting and prosecuting the coach. There are good coaches experienced enough to lead the Falcons. As for me, I cannot apply for Falcons job after my experience with the team."
