Super Eagles Goalkeeper, Francis Uzoho has responded to critics accusing him of faking his age.

The 21 years old Omonia FC of Cyprus Goalie was part of the Golden Eaglet team that Participated at the 2013 FIFA U-17 world cup. Uzoho who was 14 years old then was a back up goalkeeper and never featured in any game through out the entire campaign as the golden Eaglet clinched the World Title for the fourth time.

Speaking on the criticism he faced over an alleged age forgery, the Goalkeeper responded by saying;

''I was smallish back then in 2013 when I participated in the World Cup with the U-17 National team. I later went to Aspire Academy where I learnt a lot. My looks and body build changed when I started using the Gym and was working out seriously." Uzoho said

"If a lot of people see my picture back then they won’t even talk about my age, but I don’t really bother because they don’t know me,” He concluded.

Recall last year, the Goalkeeper was at the receiving end of a career threatening injury sustained in a friendly match between the Super Eagles and the Samba Boys of Brazil. The forward went through a successful surgery process and is still recuperating.
