Nigeria international Victor Osimhen was rushed to the hospital few minutes after opening the scoring for Lille in their 3-0 win against Monaco in the Coupe de la Ligue on Tuesday night sealing their passage to the quarterfinal of the League Cup. 

According to various reports in the French media, the Super Eagles striker seemed to feel dizzy and complained of chest pain.

He was quickly attended to by the emergency services present at the Stade Louis II, and then taken by ambulance to a hospital centre to undergo medical examinations accompanied by Patrick Flamant the Lille team doctor. 




According to BBC reporter, John Benett, All seems to be alright now, and "everything is back to normal". 


Before his substitution, Osimhen gave Lille the lead with a  lovely finish into the far corner, assisted by Jonathan Ikoné.




His goal against the Monaco is his 12th of the season in 23 matches with nine of those strikes coming in the French Ligue 1.
