Nigeria Legendary Midfielder, John Obi Mikel has dropped his opinion on what he thinks must be done by the English National team as it relates to the use of Chelsea forward, Cole Palmer.

Cole Palmer, 22, enjoyed most of the Euros 2024 tournament on the bench and was only featured as a second half substitute in most of the games. Despite the Limited playing time, Cole Palmer was still able to register an assist in the Semi final of the tournament and a goal in the final.

While speaking on the Obi one podcast, mike advised that any manager taking over from Gareth Southgate must find a way to fit in Cole Palmer into the starting line up.

In his podcast, he said:  “I think they (England) need to find a way to fit Cole Palmer in that starting XI. Whichever manager comes in, his first job is to find a way he can fit Cole Palmer.”

Cole Palmer had a breakthrough season for Chelsea in the EPL Last season, scoring 22 goals and recording 11 assists in 34 games.
