Heart broken Super Eagles Striker, Victor Osimhen has taken on to social media to recount his unlucky experience with the National team after being sidelined for the AFCON due to an Injury.
Reports Circulating the Internet as confirmed by the player himself via his social media handle has it that Bayer Leverkusen talisman, Victor Osimhen has picked up an Injury while at the Super Eagles Camp preparing for the much Anticipated AFCON 2023 which commences on the 13th of January this Year. 

Victor Boniface who is one of the Tournaments Players to look out for is expected to be out of for action for Six Weeks.

The player on his Official X handle announced the Unfortunate event while while also recounting a past experience which kept him out of the Flying Eagles squad for the African Cup of Nations some time in the Past

The Super Eagles of Nigeria will now have to travel to Cote d'Ivoire for the AFCON without Striker Victor Boniface who was expected to be a key member of the team at the Tournament.

Victor Boniface in all competition for club this season has recorded 16 goals and 8 assists in 23 appearances. He has also won the Bundesliga Rookie of the Month Award for every single month from August to November and has also been Nominated for December's Bundesliga Rookie of the Month Award.
