Young and Promising Chelsea Player of Nigerian Heritage, Lesley Ugochukwu has opened up on the impact Legendary Super Eagles Midfielder, John Obi Mikel has had on him.
The 19 years old Midfielder in an exclusive interview with his Club Side, Chelsea Football Club heaped praises on John Obi Mikel, commending his style of play while as a Chelsea Player as he (Ugochukwu) looks forward to achieving great things Just like the One-time Blues' Number 12 did during his time at Stamford Bridge.

Ugochukwu Also recognized the Legendary Jay Jay Okocha as a Big name in Nigerian Football.

“Most of the time when I saw him (Mikel) on television was the period with Mourinho.

“It was a great period. He was such an important player for Chelsea. And when you come from Nigeria, the names of Jay-Jay Okocha and Obi Mikel always come out.
“As a midfielder, what Mikel did for Chelsea inspired me a lot. He was calm. He had composure. He had self-confidence. That’s very important for a midfielder, to give confidence to your team.

“He was strong without the ball, aggressive. That’s the kind of player I like. I want to have great achievements like he did.”

Lesley Ugochukwu who signed a seven-year deal with Chelsea From Rennes this Season has gone on to feature 12 times  for the Blues this season across all Competitions.

The Talented Midfielder is eligible to feature for the Super Eagles of Nigeria in the Nearest future but currently, he represents the French National team U-21 side.
