Nigeria Super Falcons Defender, Ashleigh Plumptre has announced her New Club. The 25 Years old is the new Signing for Saudi Pro League's Women team, Al-Ittihad.
Ashleigh Plumptre on her Instagram and X handles announced that she has penned a deal with Al-Ittihad.

The Defender wrote

"Grateful to have signed for Al-Ittihad. Excited to start this journey alongside some incredible human beings.
My Journey of stepping into more of myself continues. It's More than Football"

The Saudi Pro League side has also announced the Signing of the Former Leicester City Defender.

The Club accompanied the welcome message with an interview Video of the Defender kitted in the Al Ittihad Jersey.
In the Interview Video, Ashleigh Plumptre stated that Joining Al Ittihad will present her with opportunities both on and off the field.

"Football is for me has always been about connecting with not only more of myself but with the people I'm surrounded by." She Said.

"Joining Al-Ittihad, I feel like I'm going to be having a lot of opportunities both on and off the pitch to be out to learn about football here."

"For me, I don't come here with any expectation. I come here being myself and I hope that I can learn and take so much from the environment both as a Football player but more importantly human being and I'm already feeling that."

"I'm just looking forward to getting the journey started with this team and seeing what we can achieve in every aspect."
