Nigeria Super Falcons duo of Rasheedat Ajibade and Imuran Rofiat were given a befitting home coming welcome by Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke.

Imuran and Ajibade both travelled with the Super Falcons squad to Australia/New Zealand for the 2023 Women's World Cup. While Imuran was an Unused Substitute all through the tournament for Nigeria, Ajibade featured in three Games for the Super Falcons, Missing the Opening Game against Canada.

The two Falcons on Sunday 13th of August 2023 were received by the Governor of Osun State, David Adeleke in company of other persons present at the home coming ceremony who gave a warm welcome to the Players who are both Indigenes of the South Western Nigerian State. 

In a Video Making Waves on the Internet, Governor Adeleke could be seen holding the hands of both Players while singing and dancing to a song being Played at the ceremony. It was all smiles for Ajibade and Imuran as both Felt the Warm Welcome.


Rasheedat Ajibade who currently plays for Atletico Madrid's Women's team at Club Level presented a customized Atletico Madrid Jersey to the Governor.

The Governor alongside the two Falcons Posed for a photo Session holding Jerseys of Both Nigeria and Atletico Madrid. Imuran on the other hand is a 19 Years old Defender who plays for Stade de Reims Women's team in France.
