Super Falcons defender, Ashleigh Plumptre has opened up on her ambition as an individual which is far beyond being considered as a professional Footballer.
The 25 years old who recently featured for Nigeria at the just concluded 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup has revealed in a podcast that she never really considered becoming a professional Footballer but rather she views herself as someone whose legacy is to impact into the Life of kids and redefine what success is to them.

The Former Leicester City Star who is a degree Holder in Human Biology from the University of Southern California made it clear that while growing up, she mainly had interest in the Human Body and not necessarily football.

According to her, She took the path of football as a result of her parent enrolling her into a soccer camp at a Very early age during the holidays.

"I Never wanted to grow up being a professional Footballer" She said on mixedup podcast.
"I don't Necessarily have ambition playing for top teams, My legacy I want to live is I want kids to be true to themselves...."I want kids to redefine what success is to them".

Speaking about having an impact in the lives of Young children, the Defender recently gave out Free Nike Balls and Boot bags to Children around Victoria Park in Leicester.
