Two of EPL power House, Liverpool and Manchester City faced off in the 2022/2023 Community Shield at the King Power Stadium in England.
Head Coach of Both Sides, Jurgen Klopp and Pep Guardiola named a strong side as they push to win the First Official silverware of the New Season. 

Liverpool's New Signing, Darwin Nunez is named as a substitute. City's Alvarez and Calvin Phillips Also took their place on the Bench.

Last Season's League Runner-up, Liverpool drew First Blood in the 21st Minute through highly rated English Right-back, Trent Alexander Arnold who combined well with Mohamed Salah after a couple of well timed passes from a couple Liverpool Players.
The English Man was beautifully set-up by Mohamed Salah and he struck the Ball first time to beat Ederson and hand Liverpool the Lead.

Second Half Substitute, Julian Alvarez got the Equalizer for City in the Second Half after positioning well to stamp in the ball from close Range following a poor save from Liverpool's Goalie.

There was a bit of controversy on the Goal on whether there was a foul on the Goalkeeper or Alvarez was Offside.
