Nigerian Attacker, Victor Boniface proved to be the hero of the day as his Norwegian Club, Bodø Glimt cruised to a Comfortable 3-0 Victory in the preliminaries of the UEFA Champions League.

Boniface bagged a Hattrick within 58 Minutes for his Side Against Klaksvik a club from Faroe Islands. 

The attacker got a goal in the 11th, 31st and 58th minute of the encounter Sealing an all-important win for his Team in the first Leg encounter and also breaking a long standing record in the process.

Victor Boniface became the first player since 2007 to score a Hattrick in the UEFA Champions League for a Norwegian Club since Abdul Razack Traore for Rosenberg BK in August 2007.

On aggregate, Bodø glimt leads 3-0 in the in the First rounds of Qualifiers and would be looking at compounding on the miseries of Klaksvik when both sides meet for the for the second leg of the Competition on Tuesday, July 12th.

Victor Boniface is yet to Feature for Nigeria senior team. The Player was once selected to represent Nigeria at U-20s AFCON but had to withdraw after unfortunately picking up an Injury.
