20-Year old Nigerian-Born striker, Adamu Chukwubuike scores the Opener for Salzburg against title Favourite, Bayern Munich with a brilliantly taken shot. 

Salzburg and Bayern Munich went Head to Head in the Round of 16 of the UEFA Champions League at the Red Bull arena and it was the home team who drew first blood after a wonderfully worked attacking move From the right Flank resulted to a clear-cut Chance for youngster Adamu Chukwubuike who wasted no time in slamming the ball past Manuel Neuer for the opening Goal of the game which gave Salzburg the Lead.

Adamu Chukwubuike, a Nigerian by Birth replaced another Player of Nigerian Descent, Noah Okafor after the latter was Forced off in the 12th Minute of the Game.

It took barely 9 Minutes for Adamu to register his name on the Scoresheet.

A little about Adamu Chukwubuike

The 21 Years old was Born in Kano, Nigeria to Nigerian Parents on the 6th of June 2001.The Youngster was raised in Austria and has Represented the Austrian National team at different age levels From U18 - U21. The player has one Cap for the Austrian senior National Team. 

Adamu Chukwubuike rose from the Ranks of GSV Wacker Youth Football club in Austria from 2011 to 2014 before joining Grazer AK in 2014, spending a Year with the Austrian Side as an Academy player. The Attacker Joined RB Salzburg academy In 2015 spending 3 Years before joining FC Liefering in 2017.

Adamu retuned to RB Salzburg in 2020 after bagging 26 goals and 11 Assists in 49 Appearances for FC Liefering.

Since his return to RB Salzburg, the Youngster has managed 5 goals and 3 Assists across all Competitions so Far this season.
