 Birth and Early Life

Ifeoma Onumonu was born on the 25th of February, 1994 in the United states of America where she started her playing Career with California Golden bear at the age of 19 in 2012.

 Parents/Nigerian Heritage

Despite being Born and brought up in the United states of America, Ifeoma has her Origin Traced to the Eastern Part of Nigeria through her Parents. Her Names "Ifeoma Chukwufumnay Onumonu" is very common to the People in the Eastern Part of Nigeria Known as the Igbos.

Club Career

Ifeoma Onumonu started her professional football career at the Age of 19 while in the University of California with California Golden Bear where she made an impressive 82 appearances, scoring 33 goals in 4 Years (2012-2016).

The Attacker Joined Boston Breakers in 2017 but made a meager 18 appearances for the club side in the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL). In 2018 after Boston Breakers folded up due to financial Crisis and Inability to sell the Club, Ifeoma Onumonu Joined Portland thorns but  was dropped in 2019 after Playing only 8 games alongside team mate mallory webber.

Ifeoma Onumonu was described as a terrific player and a true professional by Portland Thorn's General Manager, Gavin Wilkinson after she was waived.

Few Days after leaving Portland Thorns, Ifeoma Onumonu Joined Reign FC as a National Replacement Player. She admitted that she felt good Joining Reign FC and was ready to Work.

“It feels really good to join Reign FC,” Onumonu said via Reign FC Website
“Honestly, to me it’s a new beginning with an amazing club. All I want is an opportunity to show what I’ve got and hopefully contribute to the team’s success. All in all, I’m ready to work.” she added

In 2020, after a Six Months stint with Reign FC Ifeoma Onumonu was transferred to Gotham FC (Formerly known as Sky blue FC).

Since Signing for Gotham FC, Ifeoma Onumonu has continued to perform tremendously well, earning praises and Accolades. The player on different occasions have been Named Player of the Match. In August, 2021 She Earned a place in NWSL team of the Month.

International Career

Ngozi Onumonu Plays at the National Level for the Super Falcons of Nigeria. The Attacker previously represented USA U-23 female Side but switched Nationality after she was Handed a Call-up to the Nigerian Women's National team in June 2021. 

She made her Debut for the Super Falcons in a Summer series Mini tournament against Jamaica on June 10, 2021 at the BBVA compass Stadium in Houston, Texas. 

The Striker Expressed her excitement after Making her Debut for the Super Falcons as she took to her Social Media Page to Announce the great Feat.

Ngozi Onumonu scored her first goal for Nigeria in an African Women's Cup of Nations Qualifying game against Cote D'Ivoire at the MKO Abiola Stadium in Abuja, Nigeria. She ended the game with a Brace as Nigeria Secured a Valuable 2-0 win in the First Leg.
