Manchester United Head Coach, Ralf Rangnick has Revealed the reason why top Striker, Cristiano Ronaldo has been absent for the Past Two games against Aston Villa.

Cristiano Ronaldo Missed both of Manchester United Games Against Aston Villa this week. The Red Devils were without the Striker in their FA Cup 3rd round encounter against Steven Gerard's men and they came out on top with a valuable 1-0 win which sees them progress to the Next round.

Five Days Later, United faced off with same rivals, this time at the Villa Park. The Portuguese maestro wasn't named in the starting Eleven, a decision which didn't go down well with a section of the Red Devil Fans who wanted their man Back in the squad.

Before the EPL Clash against Villa Last Night, Ralf Rangnick came out to clarify things pertaining to the absence of Cristiano Ronaldo from the United squad. The Gaffer made it clear that the 36 Years old is struggling with a hip Injury.

“[He’s out] for the same reason he missed the cup game,” Rangnick told Sky.

“Yesterday before training he still had problems with his hip flexor and we then decided not to train him.

“Then after training I had another conversation with him and we then decided that it doesn't make sense, if he is still having problems with his hip flexor, to take him on the journey here and then hopefully make sure he can play on Wednesday.”

Aston Villa and Manchester United played out a 2-2 draw as the home side, came from behind to snatch a point through Phillipe Coutinho who Bagged a goal and an assist in Just 10 Minutes into his Villa Debut.

Up next for Manchester United is an away trip to Brentford. The team would be hoping to have Cristiano Ronaldo back in the Squad but Rangnick would not want to Force him into the game if he's not Fit Yet.

United currently occupies 7th Position on the league table with 32 Points from 20 games. The Club would be fighting for a top 4 Finish as the race for the EPL Title is Very Much over for them.
