Latest EPL signing, Samuel Kalu has reacted to joining Relegation Threatened Watford side on a 3-year contract until 2025. 

The Nigerian Winger Joins the Hornet after signing from Ligue 1 side Bordeaux for a fee reported to be £3m.

Reacting to his Latest Transfer Achievements, Samuel Kalu who becomes the sixth Nigerian Player in the current Watford setup also spoke on his relationship with some Nigerian internationals, Particularly Emmanuel Dennis and Super Eagles assistant Captain, William Troost Ekong

“I followed the club a couple of years ago when Odion Ighalo was here,” explained Kalu (Via Watford's Official website)

“This club is a very good club and has a lot of good foundations.

“I know [Emmanuel] Dennis very well, and [William] Troost-Ekong, we played together at Gent. I also know [Peter] Etebo, we’ve played together in the national team.

“They will help me a lot. I saw Dennis and Etebo and they were very happy to see me. I know they are going to help me settle at the club.”

As a highly Skilled player who isn't afraid of taking on Oppositions and pushing for Goal, Samuel Kalu Revealed his admiration for Former and current Real Madrid number '7', Cristiano Ronaldo and Eden Hazard 

“I’m the kind of player that plays like Eden Hazard, I admire him a lot. I also watch Cristiano Ronaldo,” he said.

“These two players I watch a lot, they help me grow as a professional football player.”

The 24 Years old has set his sight at achieving greater things at Watford and one of it would definitely be dragging his Newly Found club out of the Relegation waters.

“I want to achieve big things with this great club, I know there is a lot to give and I want to give my best,” continued Kalu.

“I’ve already seen the fixtures until the end of the season, with the quality of the players the team has I think we can do good things in the second half of the season.

“I know there are great fans here, I watched the last couple of games, I can't wait to see them and I can’t wait to get started.

“I will give my best here to make sure we achieve our end goal.”

Samuel Kalu would be looking at making his Debut for Watford when they Take on fellow Relegation zone partners, Burnley on Saturday, February 5th.
