Manchester United Head Coach, Ralf Rangnick has confirmed that neither the duo of Maguire nor Fernades would be captaining his side when they take on Young Boys in a less Important UCL clash for the Red Devils.

United have already secured top spot and a Qualification into round 16 of the UCL going into the Game against Swiis side, Young Boys and Newly appointed German Gaffer, Ralf Rangnick has hinted on having his squad rotated for that Game. 

While the Match may look less important for the Red Devils, it's a Must Win Match for Young Boys which would be looking at Overtaking Atalanta in 3rd Position for an Automatic Qualification into the Europa League.

In a Press Conference released via Man United Official Website, Ralf Rangnick has picked Nemanja Matic as his Stand-in Captain for the Game against Young Boys and this decision only means that Both Harry Maguire and Bruno Fernades who are United's top choice Captain may well be Rested for the game. 

Ralf Rangnick also Confirmed that Dutch Midfielder, Donny Van De Beek and Goalkeeper, Dean Henderson would be starting the game. 

Nemanja Matic who has fallen off the pecking order in United's Midfield Selection was present at the press Conference and the Serbian expressed how much a honour it means to him having to Captain the United team.

“That was not even a dream because, when you start from a small village in Serbia, when you play for a team that has only one ball for one year and you just play with one ball!” the 33-year-old said.

“I was dreaming to maybe play in the Serbian division, maybe Red Star Belgrade, but I am at Manchester United.

“It is kind of a dream. I am very proud because of that and, for sure, I take all the armbands to my home and that one will be framed.”

Manchester United welcomes Young boys to the Old Trafford on Wednesday Evening and Rangnick would be hoping to start his UCL campaign with Manchester United with a Win.
