Watford's Head Coach, Claudio Ranieri has hinted on the Possibility of Super Eagles attacker, Emmanuel Dennis Not taking part in the AFCON which is set to hold in January, 2022.

Emmanuel Dennis is Part of the 28 man squad called up by Coach of the Super Eagles, Austin Eguavoen for the African Cup of Nations in Cameroon Next Year. 

While Nigeria would be expecting Emmanuel Dennis in the camp any Time soon, Watford's Coach has hinted on Not letting one of his Most important player leave the team for AFCON.

Dennis Continued his Fine form for Watford in the EPL after netting his eigth Goal of the season in Watford's 4-1 humiliating defeat in the hands of WestHam United. 

After the Game Against WestHam, Claudio Ranieri spoke on the situation on ground as regards the Movement of the Player to the National team

“I’m not so sure I will miss him now, I don’t know if he goes,” he said when asked about Dennis. 

“Let’s think about it this week and then I will tell you.

“The national team has a time to send their precall, they don’t respect the days and I want to see very well.

“I know the email arrived late and I want to know everything. The email arrived late to call him. The national team has a time, during this time they have to send the precall, if they don’t send the precall, we can choose.”

Emmanuel Dennis with 3 games played so far for the super Eagles Since his Call-up in 2019 has only enjoyed 24 minutes out of a possible 270 Minutes in all three games played. Competitively, the player  has only enjoyed 6 Minutes of action for the Super Eagles of Nigeria.

With his Red hot form in the EPL this season, Coach Austin Eguavoen would be banking on the 24 Years old to lead the Super Eagles attack in Cameroon Next Month and the Attacker himself would be hoping to Leave his Mark with the Super Eagles team.
