Ahead of the English Premier League Clash between Leicester City and Liverpool at the King Power Stadium, Head Coach of the Foxes, Brendan Rodgers has dropped an Injury Update on Wilfred Ndidi and Jamie Vardy.

Both Vardy and Ndidi were Unused Substitute in Leicester City Big Defeat against Table Toppers, Manchester City. The Foxes were trashed 6-3 by a ruthless Pep Guardiola side, which Continued their Fine form in their quest to secure the League title.

The First half Between Leceister City and Manchester City ended 4-Nil With Four Different Goalscorers Making the difference for Manchester City. Brendan Rodgers men in the Second half built Momentum and looked like staging a Comeback after Moving from 4-0 to 4-3 in Just 20 Minutes but lost Grounds to a dominant Cityzen Side which took the game Further Away from Brendan Rodgers' men by adding 2 More goals to wrap up the game.

After the Game, in a Post Match Conference; Brendan Rodgers admitted his Frustration on the schedule of activities for his team stating that it was a Ridiculous schedule.

“It’s a ridiculous schedule, we all know that,” said the Leicester boss. 

“Players aren’t fully recovered for 72 hours after a game, so for us to be playing on a Tuesday against Liverpool is ridiculous.

“It’s a very quick turnaround. To play Man City and Liverpool in quick succession over this period is a big challenge, especially with the squads that they have

“However, we have to play the game. We’ll do what we’ve done in this period. We will fight, keep working and we’ll do our very best, and that’s what we’re prepared to do on Tuesday.”

Speaking on not Playing the duo of Wilfred Ndidi and Jamie Vardy against Mancity Despite both players being named on the bench, Rodgers made it clear that it was a big Risk.

“It was too big a risk,” said Rodgers of Vardy and Ndidi. 

“We had to put them on the bench but knew we weren’t really going to be able to use them.

“They were suffering with tightness and to put them into the game would have been really tough. Hopefully they’ll be fine and recovered for Tuesday’s game.”

Rodgers would be hoping to Get Vardy and Ndidi back to the team just in time before Liverpool Clash as both Players are very Influential in this Foxes team. Nigerians would also be hoping that Ndidi Recovers Quickly before their AFCON Opening Game against Egypt on the 11th of January, 2022.

While Brendan Rodgers men may be suffering from Fatigue due to a tight schedule, Jurgen Klopp Boys would be reasonably Fresh as They didn't Compete in the weekend due to the Postponement of Their game against Leeds United.
