Nigerian Duo of Jay Jay Okocha and Yakubu Aiyegbeni has been Listed among the Best Premier League team of all time comprising of Players not to have played for the 'Big Six'

In the EPL, the 'Big Six' refers to six Clubs which are Manchester City, Manchester United, Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal and Tottenham. These Clubs are widely regarded to be the Best Among the lots in recent Years.

According to a List of Players compiled by British Media Publication, GivemeSports, an XI comprising of the Best Players who played outside the 'top six' was rolled out and the list Contains some big Names who Never played for the Aforementioned Clubs.

Nigerian Duo of Jay Jay Okocha and Yakubu Aiyegbeni Also made the list.

Jay Jay Okocha played for Bolton in the EPL from 2002-2006 where he bagged 18 goals and 3 Assists in 144 games for the Club. Okocha is widely regarded as one of the Most Skillful Player ever to have graced the game of football. The Former PSG Man was a Thorn in the flesh of Opposing teams as he takes on Defenders with his dazzling skills and Quick feet.


In 2004, Okocha and Bolton came close to winning the League cup but fell to a disappointing 2-1 loss to Middlesbrough. 

Yakubu Aiyegbeni, prolific Attacker also Made the list of Best Premier League XI outside the Top Six. The "Yak" as he is widely called featured for 4 different clubs in the EPL including Portsmouth, Middlesbrough, Everton and Blackburn Rovers. 

Yakubu Aiyegbeni till date remains the Highest Scoring Nigerian in the EPL with 96 goals.

He is named on the bench behind Alan Shearer, Jamie Vardy and Le Tessier.
