Former Netherlands National team Player, Danny Blind has dropped his Candid Opinion on the pattern of play by Manchester United ever since the signing of Cristiano Ronaldo.

Ronaldo Rejoined Manchester United From Juventus during the 2021 Summer Transfer Window and the Player has wasted no time in Announcing his return to English Football, scoring 5 Goals in 7 Appearances Across all Competitions for the Red Devils so far this season.

Ronaldo has goals against Newcastle (2), WestHam (1), Young Boys (1) and Villareal (1).

The signing of Ronaldo has raised series of topics as some sees it as a positive step in the right direction while others are concerned with the 'Negative' Effect his Presence may have in the team Psychologically and as per disrupting team play.

Retired Dutch Footballer Danny Blind reacting to Manchester United's 2-1 win against Villareal in UCL Mid-week action feels that somehow, Manchester United style of Play is being disrupted stating that the players are not playing in their Familier pattern.

According to Blind, Ronaldo only thinks about goals, leaving the other players to work out the ball for him.

“Ronaldo doesn’t really need to play an active role,” Blind told Sportnieuws.

“Like: ‘take your time’. You also see the other players looking at you like, ‘how are we going to solve it then?’

“Normally, the striker runs from one central defender to the other.

“Now, they are not playing in their familiar pattern. When the ball was deflected [against Villarreal], you saw Paul Pogba coaching that they had to put all the pressure on.

“Ronaldo did not do that; he is not like that. He only thinks about goals and hopes others will conquer the ball.”

This is not the first time, Ronaldo has been accused of affecting a team's style of play. It could Also be recalled that Juventus' Defender, Leonardo Bonucci also accused Ronaldo of Affecting Juve's Style of play.

Asked if the Signing of Cristiano Ronaldo got the Juventus Player complacent, Bonucci told The Athletic:

"This was the thing. The idea that one player, even the best in the world, could guarantee Juventus victory."

"Cristiano’s presence had a big influence on us. Just training with him gave us something extra but subconsciously players started to think his presence alone was enough to win games."

"We began to fall a little short in our daily work, the humility, the sacrifice, the desire to be there for your teammate day after day. Over the last few years, I think you could see that."

"Last season, we finished fourth and won the Coppa Italia because we became a team again."

"If you had thrown a piece of wood in the dressing room before those games it would have caught fire such was the electricity running through it. We missed that."

"Maybe it was taken for granted that if we gave the ball to Cristiano he’d win us the game."

"But Cristiano needed the team as much as we needed him. There had to be a trade-off because it’s the team that lifts the individual even if the individual is the best player on the planet."

Cristiano who has been the center of Attention for Manchester United in the last few weeks was visibly Frustrated as his team Played a 1-1 draw against Everton at the Old Trafford. The player who started the Match from the Bench could be seen storming off the Pitch at Full time.
