Glen Johnson,a Former England Defender who featured for Both Chelsea and Liverpool in the past has stated that Manchester United would live to regret selling 'Big Rom'.

"Now, yes," he said when asked if United will regret the sale. "But obviously if he’d stayed at Manchester United, he wouldn’t have been the player he is today." Johnson said as per Reports

"It’s one of those hindsight things. It’s like Chelsea selling Kevin De Bruyne. These players go away, they learn their trade somewhere else and then they turn into the player they are. I don’t think any of these players would be the players they were if they stayed around."

"It’s the same as Mohamed Salah. If he stayed at Chelsea, he wouldn’t be the player he is now. So, of course, they [United] regret selling him [Lukaku], but at the time, it was probably the right thing to do."
