Nigerian Super Falcons Star,  Rasheedat Ajibade has placed pen on paper, signing a contract with spainsh League club, Atletico Madrid.

The 21 years old star striker signed a deal with Atletico Madrid's women team until 2022 for an undisclosed fee, signing from Avaldsnes in Norway.

According to the club's statement on their official website"

We spoke with the Nigerian international upon arrival in Madrid: 

“It is a great privilege and an opportunity to be here. I am excited to be part of this team and I hope that together we achieve success. It is a great step in my career and a great challenge for me and I am ready to give it my all ”.  

In addition, Ajibade said: "I am a versatile, versatile, energetic and hard-working player." The Nigerian attacker said: "I tell the Atléticos that I'm going to do my best so that they and the team can feel proud."

Ajibade joins her national team mates, Asisat Oshoala (Barcelona) and Rita Chikwelu (Madrid CFF) in the spanish women's league.
