Super Eagles Goalkeeper, Maduka Okoye who recently signed for Dutch Eredivisie side, Sparta Rotterdam speaks on his New club as well as his aim of securing the Super Eagles Number 1 Jersey.

Maduka Okoye moved from Fortuna Dusseldorf in the German League having played in the Lower Category.  He signed for Sparta Rotterdam on a 2-year deal for an Undisclosed Amount. 

While Speaking in an Interview as showcased on Sparta Rotterdam's Official Youtube Page, the 26 years old admitted that his Move to the Dutch league is a Big step in the Right Direction for him. He also revealed his Future ambition of Becoming Super Eagles First Choice Goal Keeper.

"Crazy, big, important moment for myself. It's important for me to play here, it's easier for me to get the number one spot for Nigeria, so I'll put everything into it and give everything".

"I got in contact with Sparta two months ago. They told me their plans for me and everything sounds great and that's why I chose here because I feel it's the right place for me and I feel home already."

Since his Debut for the Super Eagles on October 13, 2019 against Brazil in a friendly, Maduka Okoye is yet to Play a game for Nigeria.
