Mainz 05 Fowrard, Taiwo Awoniyi has reportedly recovered after going Motionless due to a clash of heads with Felix Uduokhai during his club's Bundesliga Encounter with Augsburg.


 The 22 Years old  was stretchered off and replaced by Karim Onisiwo in the 23rd Minute as he looked to have lost Consciousness.

 Coach of the team, Beierlorzer has confirmed via AFP that the Nigerian is currently recuperating and could remember all what happened before the collision.



"We have received the all-clear from the doctors. He has regained consciousness and can remember the things that happened,”said  Beierlorzer

"He has a severe concussion and has to stay in the hospital for observation." He added

Mainz 05 travels to Dortmund for Next Weekend's Bundesliga Clash  and would Most Certainly be without the Young Nigerian.




 Recently, Footynaija reported that Mainz 05 are in talks with Liverpool to extend the Forward's Loan deal with the Club.
