The 2020 Golden Boy awards Nominees have been released and it saw four Players of Nigerian Descent Nominated for the Prestigious Award Primarily Made for Footballers under the Age of 21.

The Nigerians though not in the National team squad but three of them are Eligible to feature in the Nearest future. The Players Include a trio of English Premier League side as well as a player in Austria. Their Names includes



  • Bukayo Saka (Arsenal, 18 Years Old)
  • Tino Anjorin (Chelsea, 18 Years Old)
  • Micheal Obafemi (Southampton, 19 Years Old)
  • Karim Adeyemi (RB Salzburg, 18 Years Old)
Both Bukayo Saka and Tino Anjorin has featured for England at the Lower categories ranging from U-17 to U-19, Karim Adeyemi has featured for Germany at the U-16 and U-17 Level as well but nonetheless the players are still Eligible to play for Nigeria in the Senior Category.

Micheal Obafemi May not be Eligible to Play for Nigeria as he committed to the Republic of Ireland after Making his debut for them against Denmark in a Goalless draw in the 2018 UEFA Nations League Match.

Other Nominees for this Prestigious Awards includes Rennes 17 year old Wonder Boy, Eduardo Camavinga who was considered Better than Ndidi by a Former Goalkeeper. Erling Halaand (Dortmund), Alphonso Davies (Bayern), Phil Foden (Man City), Rodrygo (Real Madrid), Ansu Fati (Barcelona), Jadon Sancho (Dortmund), Vinicius Junior (Real Madrid), Angel Gomes (Manchester United) as well as Many Others were also nominated.

The Award Presented by Tutto Sports has seen some Selected Big Name Winners Which includes Lionel Messi ( 2005), Cesc Fabregas(2006), Sergio Kun Aguero(2007), Paul Pogba (2013), Kylian Mbappe (2017). The Award is Currently Held By Atletico Madrid's Youngster, Joao Felix.
