Former Everton Defender, Joseph Yobo has Expressed his disappointments over the Ballon D'or snub of Manchester United Legend, Wayne Rooney who also played for Everton.
According to Yobo, Wayne rooney is supposed to be in the Category of the Ever-dominant Duo of Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi.
“Wayne Rooney, great talent. I played with him coming through the ranks [at Everton]. I saw him at 16 and what this boy could do,” Yobo said on Instagram Live.
“I’m a little bit surprised that he wasn’t always in the top three [best players]. I was expecting Messi, Ronaldo, Rooney, always, all through, because he had that talent. He did.”
Rooney is Currently Manchester United All-time Goalscorer with 249 goals and has won a couple of Awards for himself but never laid his hands on Football's Move prestigious award, the Ballon D'or
